Never Enough Of Chinese Food
Just when you think there are enough Chinese restaurants in Vancouver....
Tucked away in Chinatown (Main & Keefer), there is a hip Chinese influenced bistro called Bao Bei. It is not your ordinary Chinesr restaurant. It is made to look and sound like Chinese, but it had a bistro flare to it. The ingredients and the menu sound very much Chinese, but the cooking style is not so much. Unique concept with a cozy ad fun atmosphere!

Snow in Vancouver
I took this photo a few days ago. Now the snow is pretty much gone, and I suddenly remembered to post the picture. It was a lovely morning to wake up seeing my favourite park had a layer of white dust over it.

Home Style Ribs
I got this recipe from my mom... It was delicious!
2 lbs of ribs
4 tbsp summer land peach syrup
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp light soy sauce
3 cloves of garlic minced
2 tbsp hot sauce (optional)
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 cups of Chinese cooking alcohol
Fry garlic until the garlic is golden. Add in the ribs and the rest of the ingredients. Cook for 45 mins on high or medium or until the liquid condenses.

November
I never liked November. It is rainy and grey. Everyone seems miserable. Cold feet. Soggy shoes. People with a little cash tend to get out of the city right about now.
Then, there was my walk around UBC campus yesterday. In fact, on my way to UBC, I couldn't help but realize how "not grey" this November is. The leaves are full of vibrant colours though they are trying to escape from the tree. The grass, being watered by the November rain, is green as ever. How pretty!
