Life's been hectic. My blog says it all. Last time I blog anything was when I am the size of the house busy getting things ready for our little boy to arrive.
June 8th was a magical day and 4 months flew by. Life was like somewhere between a dream and hallucinations -- exhausting but exciting. I think we have learned a lot, from this little amazing person, what life can offer and we are grateful! Here are some pictures of our little miracle.

Projects for the nursery
I realized I never blogged these projects.
My husband and I have been busy decorating the nursery for our baby boy (coming soon!) let's face it, baby everything is expensive now days. I hate Disney or other commercialized kids items and I just don't think a nursery should cost a fortune. So here are some of the furnitures I refurbished and reupholstered. The dresser was done last year as per previous blog. Since, I have found a night stand and a chair both online for under $200 dollars total.

Oru Revisited
I haven't posted for a long time I realized. Being pregnant for 9 months now, going through the ups and downs of taste buds changing, being physically fatigue and etc made it really hard to go out. BUT, I did it.
We went to Oru (Pacific Rim Fairmont Vancouver) for dinner again two weeks ago. After a chef change and a few revamping of the menu these are what Oru has to offer now.

Oru still has some of that Asian flavor left but with much better plating.
Maybe because I am Asian, whenever I go to high end Asian fusion restaurant I always feel they are over priced. Oru is changing, infusing some of the western cooking techniques into its menu while keeping some of the Asian flavours. On the other hand, aren't most Vancouver restaurant going that route currently?
